Doug Karr is finally doing what I've encouraged him to do for years. Start his own business. He explains it all in this post, http://marketingtechblog.com/2009/07/18/compendium-blogware-resignation/
We look forward to his assistance on the services side as we continue to grow Compendium Blogware and change the face of Social Media for business.

Are We Pennsylvania?
So, I'm supporting Obama.
For those that don't know me very well, I'm a native of a tiny town in Western PA. It's where I grew up, and I love it. But it is also exactly as Obama described it. It's angry. It feels like it's owed something because all the steel jobs went away or the unions are gone. My county has the lowest per capita income in the state and the highest per capita NRA membership in the country. Generally speaking, they want to go back to another time, not embrace the future.
But Indiana is not Pennsylvania. What separates us here is a self-reliant attitulde. People here are not looking for someone to blame, just for new opportunities. what makes us different is our independence (took me 10 years to accept the daylight savings time) and that's what makes Obama the candidate for us.
I genuinely believe he is our best hope to change, and change is the only thing that will bring prosperity and jobs. There is a lot of desperation in trying to hang on to something you can see slipping away. You know you can't stop that thing leaving...but you bitterly hang on just the same regardless of the consequences to the future. We have to look ahead.
We have to recognize the world for what it is and where it's going. Not hang on to the past, but (as Gretsky said) "skate to where the puck is going".
Most of the media is trying to paint us as the same as Pennsylvania because we have a large white working class population. Don't let this stereotype become true. This is the first time in a generation that the Indiana primary can really exert influence on a national scale. Let's rock the boat. You can help here....
